Dr. Geoff Adsett

Dr. Geoff Adsett (Now Retired)

Geoff graduated in Medicine at the University of Queensland in 1971. He had extensive training in General Medicine at Princess Alexandra Hospital, and Cairns Base Hospital before commencing General Practice on the Gold Coast in 1978. He was introduced to the concept of Cardiac Dynamics, by its founder in Australia, Dr Peter Kamen, in 1997. It proved the ideal vehicle in which to merge his scientific and medical training with his General Practice experience with valued colleagues.

Always an avid advocate for the Gold Coast medical community, Geoff has served on various committees including Pindara Hospital Board of Advice and was the long-standing chairman of the Pharmacy Committee. He is a Past- President of the Gold Coast Medical Association, and served as the Gold Coast Local Representative to AMA Queensland.

Geoff has been fortunate to enjoy a balance of work, family and lifestyle commitments. This has been enhanced in recent years through his association with Mark Wescott, and his Strategic Life Planning programme of personal development.

Recreation sees Geoff swimming, running or boating on board “Vagus” named after the cardioprotective nerve in the body.

Professor Rohan Jayasinghe

Professor Rohan Jayasinghe

Rohan qualified from Sydney University School of Medicine with 1st class honours and completed his training at major teaching hospitals in Sydney and Newcastle. He did further training in advanced interventional cardiology at Beth Israel Hospital in New York City. He completed his PhD in Cardiovascular research at University of New South Wales.

He is the Professor of Cardiology at Griffith University.
He is widely published in the specialty area of cardiology and is invited to present at major meetings round the world
He is an expert in coronary angiography, angioplasty and all areas of Cardiology.

He offers services at Cardiac Dynamics for:

  • Chest pain assessment
  • Assessment of dyspnoea / syncope / palpitations
  • Echocardiography
  • Angiography / Angioplasty / Stenting
  • Right heart catheterisation to assess pulmonary hypertension
  • Renal denervation for resistant hypertension
  • PFO and ASD closure

He offers his hospital services at Gold Coast University Hospital, Pindara Private Hospital, Allamanda Private Hospital and John Flynn Private Hospital

Tiffany Adsett

General Manager

Tiffany assisted with the initial set-up and running of Cardiac Dynamics Practice in 1997, looking after the general administration and reception. After a few years she moved into Tertiary Education working in a variety of roles including, Management, Auditing and Student Recruitment within a variety of RTO’s and Bond University. Tiffany returned to Cardiac Dynamics in April 2021 to take on the role of General Manager ensuing the ongoing care of our patients.
